About the Keira Duffy Memorial Fund
The Keira Duffy Memorial Fund was established to honor the memory of Keira Duffy, who, in July 2023, was tragically killed in a car accident. Keira was just eight days away from turning 17.
In her short life, Keira’s magnetic personality, captivating conversations, and kindhearted nature touched the lives of countless people. She effortlessly brought together individuals from all walks of life with her genuine warmth, quick wit, immense compassion, and profound wisdom. Each day, Keira embraced life to the fullest, seizing every opportunity that came her way.
From basketball and track and field to cross country and ceramics club, Keira excelled in every endeavor. But it was the arts that was her passion. An accomplished violinist, Keira’s talent shone brightly through her exceptional performances with the symphony, Chamber Orchestra, and pit orchestras.
In commemoration of Keira’s generous, creative, and kind spirit, the Keira Duffy Memorial Fund aims to alleviate the financial burden for students who embody her remarkable qualities. By supporting aspiring artists, we aim to empower them to explore diverse avenues within the arts and carry forward Keira’s extraordinary legacy.
